Assenti’s Smart IOP implant uses inductively coupled load modulated technology similar to passive RFID transponders. Assenti combines micropower sensing capabilities (RFID sensor ASIC,left top) wit h the RFID technology to provide battery free in-vivo measurement solutions for health care . Custom readers operating at ISM 125kHz (battery powered prototype interface, left bottom) and 13.56 MHz frequencies have been developed to support Assenti devices.
