Assenti's Smart IOP implant uses inductively coupled load modulated technology similar to passive RFID transponders. Assenti combines micropower sensing capabilities (RFID sensor ASIC,right top) with the RFID technology to provide battery free in-vivo measurement solutions for health care . Custom readers operating at ISM 125kHz (battery powered prototype interface, right bottom) and 13.56 MHz frequencies have been developed to support Assenti devices.
